Let's begin this tough subject with what’s clear: God offers unequalled health insurance. In His Word, He details prevention tips and highlights supernatural healing.

The promise is there. The timing is His.

Businesses offer health insurance, too. It's often hard to get and expensive. In his 40s, my brother found out that only one of his kidneys was working. Therein, he became uninsurable (at least in any way he could afford).

Over 30 million Americans share in his “uninsurability”– either from pre-existing conditions or from unaffordable premiums.

America IS thought to have good health care, but…

  • It costs more than anywhere else on earth, because prices are unregulated and pharma lobbyists woo our leaders.

  • We have the lowest life expectancy of any industrialized nation, because millions can’t afford insurance.

  • Today, every other modern nation gives ALL people universal healthcare, and crucial prescription drugs cost FAR less.

Obama helped, but Pharma was coy and lobbied American congressmen (who need big dollars to get elected). Oh, what a tangled web is government. What can or should Christians do about it?

  1. If you’re healthy, remember those who aren’t.

  2. If you’re insured, CARE ABOUT those who aren’t.

  3. You can also lobby your congressmen. (It’s legal, above board, and it can help!)

  4. Unlike Cain, you ARE your brother’s keeper!

  5. Practice godly eating and stay active.

  6. Speak God's Word over medical problems.

  7. Pray without ceasing and trust for healing.

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Healing was crucial to Christ’s ministry, because our medical misfortunes can preoccupy our time and focus… away from spiritual destinies– just as hunger, thirst, and homelessness can.

Be aware of this American “gap”... and do what you can to bring about change.
