Gender-affirming surgery is tough. For me, thinking of it is a mind-stretch… but I once had a super-sized body (360 hard-to-wear pounds), so I FELT LIKE a stranger in my skin.
SIDEBAR: Much of my life flies against my culture, as in I don’t “look like” what I believe. For this topic, I researched and dug deep into various experts… and the Word.
At the time I’m writing this devotion, 2026 is around the bend, and this controversial surgery has been limited or stopped in most states for transgender youth, who’ve been seeking it. I think this article is objective.* (see link below)
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
As you rise in the fields of media, you know most VIPs are liberal. They love causes that many Christians don’t.
You also know you don’t have to agree, but simply respect their freedom to choose, as all visiting ambassadors must. Because as an ambassador for Christ, Heaven is home. Earth is your mission field.
Kindness and respect are your calling cards. I doubt Jesus “loved” everything Rome did, but He never rendered His opinion.
His only words of harsh condemnation were pointed at religious hypocrites, who misrepresented the Heart of God. Therein, they were misleading God’s children.
Because God’s overriding theme is love! You can’t go wrong by living that anthem and leaving the job of judgment to God.
