Hot Topics: God's Foot First

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

Psalm 37:23 (NKJV)

My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.

Job 23:11 (NKJV)

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said.

Matthew 4:19 (NIV)

Surely, God's Foot is the BEST Foot forward. But how can we be sure He's directing our steps in this crazy world of deceit, debate, and never-ending hot topics?

  • Keep tuned to God’s information Channel: the Holy Spirit. Ask for His guidance. He’s ready, willing, and more than able! He may speak directly… or through others.

  • Hang closely with Spirit-filled believers: time-tested, prayerful, and positive family and close friends, who know your heart, support your dreams, and always have your back.

  • Stay in God’s school by studying His Word. Yes, you’ll gain wisdom, but also insight that addresses your questions and concerns. Good students receive the Teacher’s favor:)

  • Resist the lull of lukewarm, baby faith, where you believe– but don’t fully commit. Christians must grow up in God (or be prey) to Satan’s schemes and misinformation.

  • Stay informed on today’s fiery issues, so you’ll be prepared and can’t be misled. No topic is too hot for God, because 'The Lord your God is a consuming Fire' (Deuteronomy 4:24).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Some coming devotions may hit “a nerve”, because hot topics are all around us! The devil loves to fill us with fury, and men love to cash in on the passion.

Don’t let anyone make you Satan’s prey. In heated debates, perhaps say nothing:)… but always stay open to the Lord’s lead and remain prayerfully vigilant.

‘Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices’ (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Hot Topics: God’s Foot First (Part 2)

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God! We’re all called to be actors (action stars) for Jesus. We’re all called to be models of Jesus. We all have gifts, talents, and a commission to multiply them in the world for His glory.

P.S. NO DEVOTION, PREACHER, or SERMON… can begin to replace personal time in the Bible. I wholeheartedly and clear-headedly recommend DAILY BIBLE READING.

WARNING: Don’t focus on your favorite verses, because taken out of context, they’re often misinterpreted. I plead with you to READ AT LEAST 1 BIBLE CHAPTER DAILY. How long does it take? An average of 5 to 10 minutes!
