Hot Topics: Opinions!
The people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures, day after day, to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.
Acts 17:11 (NLT)
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 (BSB)
Before I offer some “steamy” topics... for you to wind, grind, measure, percolate, pour a taste, and simmer on them, please note:
My opinions may not agree with yours. But let’s keep the peace and take it to God:)
That being said, my takes on hot topics are steeped in prayer and based on the Word– to my best and seasoned ability. Because LOVE is the only perfect warmth!
Without love, ‘I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal’ (1 Corinthians 13:1)
Here's another thing: the more I learn, the less I think I know, regarding God's unfathomable ways– like why He allows things so clearly wrong.
And even those with vast Bible knowledge, along with wisdom, insight, and vision… are just kids peeping through tiny pinholes…
Compared to the Father, Son, and Spirit’s PERFECT sight of past, present, and future!
In our quest for greater understanding, we must humble ourselves and trust the Lord!
Inevitably, what’s right WILL be done.
Inescapably, justice WILL prevail.
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
Let's agree to be like the Bereans: searching through Scripture and seeking the Lord, paying close attention to the Gospels, because they’re closely focused on Jesus, Who is the top, middle, and bottom line!
P.S. Your thoughts and opinions are welcome that we may grow up together in Christ!
Hot Topics: Opinions (Part 4)
NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God! We’re all called to be actors (action stars) for Jesus. We’re all called to be models of Jesus. We all have gifts, talents, and a commission to multiply them in the world for His glory.
P.S. NO DEVOTION, PREACHER, or SERMON… can begin to replace personal time in the Bible. I wholeheartedly and clear-headedly recommend DAILY BIBLE READING.
WARNING: Don’t focus on your favorite verses, because taken out of context, they’re often misinterpreted. I plead with you to READ AT LEAST 1 BIBLE CHAPTER DAILY. How long does it take? An average of 5 to 10 minutes!
