The Call To Overcome: For Whom Do We Fight?
Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me…
Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did NOT do it to one of the least of these, you did NOT do it to Me.
Matthew 25:40, 45 (NKJV)
If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
Isaiah 58:10 (ESV)
Throughout the Bible, our Father is clear: He has a special love for those in need: for the poorest, for the ill and injured; for widows, orphans, children, and strangers; for captives– and especially sinners!
'I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance' (Luke 5:32).
Matthew 25 features “The Judgment” – a moving and sobering alarm bell.* It describes end-times: who goes where, and why. His salvation criteria is LOVE: specifically, a challenging love: loving needy AND hard-to-love people!
Here's my interpretation of Christ’s Words:
“If you love people like I do, prove it! (The people easiest to love don’t count.) Go out of your way– to the neediest! If you show THEM love, then you show ME love. If you ignore THEM, then you ignore ME... I identify with the forsaken. In my trials, I was forsaken, too.”
Actors, models, and talent for Christ:
You fight to free every person who’s bound… by mistakes, hopelessness, or circumstance. Don't dare to cast blame. Don’t dare to find fault. That's your Father’s job. If you judge them, then He’ll surely judge you.
You fight to win roles in media’s fields, currently controlled by unknown giants. Why? Because within them, you can do great good. You fight against religiosity that prompts you to disdain certain people.
Jesus doesn't NEED you to do this job. Instead, He OFFERS you this job to do. It’s no less than your own great commission.
With or without you, He’ll meet every hopeless person on Earth (even on deathbeds), to offer the gift of eternal life. But how much better would it be for them to meet Him sooner?
Therefore,
Deny every enemy objection that prevents you from helping the helpless. 'For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil' (1 John 3:8).

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
