The Armor Of God: Connection

Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

Hebrews 10:25 (NLT)

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

Hebrews 10:25 (ESV)

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path.

Galatians 6:1 (NLT)

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

John 17:20-23 (NKJV)

An extension to the Armor of God is CONNECTION: chiefly with God, and next, with each other!

  • ‘Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing’ (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

  • Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them’ (Matthew 18:20).

Consider the current situation:

  • If God gave Satan a limited reign over this wartorn and confusing world,

  • If God orders us to fight the good fight– pushing Satan back every chance we get,

  • If, concurrently, we are commissioned– as traveling Good News ambassadors,

  • Then we fight the devil (as God’s army), and we represent Jesus (as actors).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

  • Since ‘The prince of the power of the air’ (Ephesians 2:2) hates your presence in fields he thinks he owns…

  • But ‘The Father of lights’ (James 1:19) owns EVERYTHING, and His armor protects you as you walk…

This being said,

Maintaining a close connection with God, as well as your Christian community, provides additional, necessary strength, for the pivotal roles you’re called to play.

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If anything I write is on point and agrees with His Word, it’s not from me. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players. Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
